Review on πŸ§‚ Revolutionize Your Seasoning Game with KitchenArt 80310 Dual End Salt and Pepper Grinder, Satin by Josh Garber

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It takes a little fiddling.

Overall I'm glad I bought this grinder. that's why it gets four stars. But not without problems. that's why it gets four stars. The quality of the product is about what you would expect for the price and because it is made of plastic. Nothing fancy, but certainly enough for most kitchens. It packs a decent amount of pepper and salt so you don't have to keep refilling it, but you also don't feel like your peppercorns are likely to get old sooner. you use them It has a good range of salt and pepper grinds. You can get a very fine grind or a rather coarse grind just by turning the knob. The dials seem to "undress" too easily. Unlike a broken screw, this is not a permanent problem. I mean, it often feels like the dials spin too freely to actually change the grind size. then you have to fiddle with it by turning the dials back and forth until it "grabs" again and actually starts readjusting the grind size. This isn't a huge problem for me as I usually use the same fine grind for everything. I set the salt grind where I like, I set the pepper grind where I like, and usually just leave it there with very little foray into resizing. But I know that other cooks change the grind size much more often. and I'm not sure they'll be happy about having to fiddle around so much to get the size they're looking for. I know it really annoys me and it will probably make me throw it in the trash and buy something else. Overall I am happy with my purchase. but I would definitely welcome a slightly better design from actual coffee grinders.
