Andersen spindle, 3-3/4 length
This spindle is an excellent replacement for the original spindle. It's easy to install and the instructions that come with it are clear and include diagrams. As other reviewers have pointed out, the image quality is better than the original. A hex wrench is required to remove the handles from the old spindle and tighten them on the new one. It may take a bit to undo the panels to attach the handles, but I didn't have to take them off. Multiple lengths are available so measure what you need before ordering. I suspect the 3-3/4 length is the most common.
