Works well. They sting quickly and then it's gone. Exactly what you expect and what you buy them for. They smell like chemicals/fuel, but only if you put your nose up to the candle and just smell it. I didn't notice when we were playing or during the fun times we were using them. They would get an extra star if they could make them smell better. Put something under the ones that drip wax or you'll make a mess. The wax falls off immediately when you stand up, so be prepared.
