I don't want to bore you with my background but I am an audio enthusiast at heart and have worked in the retail/installation industry for many years. After researching many options for under $200, I've come to the conclusion that none of them sound amazing considering the ideal listening situation in my case is an aftermarket car stereo or my home setup. With that in mind, I wanted something small (really small) with a very long battery life (rechargeable) and good sound quality. Before I heard this one, I really liked the Bose Sound Link - Mini because none of the other options in this price range had a warm (not tinny) sound. But it lacks a lot of highs in my opinion, which overall sounds like an almost dirty speaker that only gets worse as the sound gets louder. That, combined with the price of $199 plus tax, just wasn't very valuable. I stumbled across Monster Clarity HD and fell in love. I found the sound more balanced and I liked the size. The more I listen to it, the more detail is revealed at all volumes in all music genres. The battery life is AMAZING! Very happy with this product and buying from Revain for less than $100 makes it a steal. Thanks Monster and Revane!
