I was drawn to this because it’s a casual Christmas top that’s done in a pretty heathered burgundy color (aka brick red), and it doesn’t scream Christmas. I already have tops with trees, Santas, snowmen and manger scenes, so this was different and cute too. I chose the size small based on the provided size chart. It fits very similar to the pictured models. It’s not overly long, but long enough I could wear leggings with it if I wanted to. It’s definitely going to be a t-shirt I lounge around the house in, and wear for quick errands around town. It appears to be good quality, as the graphic is clear and detailed, seams are all intact with no missed stitches, there’s no hanging threads, the poly blend fabric has a soft and almost silk-like touch and there are no flaws in the fabric. The material is a thin-medium knit fabric, with some stretch. It is not a sweatshirt as is mentioned a couple of times in the product listing. I like the casual, somewhat baggy fit, but I must say it tends to look a little frumpy on me. That doesn’t bother me, because I’m not trying to make a fashion statement…I’m going for the cute and comfy look. I like shirts (actually ANYTHING) with pockets, but I don’t know that I’ll use these much. The openings are along the side seams, so it feels awkward to put my hands in the pockets. If I put much in the pockets, it looks bulky. My phone does slip down into the pocket, with just a corner of it sticking out. However in addition to looking bulky, the weight pulls the pocket down, so I wouldn’t feel comfortable using the pockets for that. Maybe slip my keys in a pocket for a quick trip into a store.I always like to launder my items before wearing them, and this said dry cleaning was recommended. I’m quite sure the recommendation is to preserve the quality of the graphic print. I typically don’t purchase dry clean only garments, but I planned to take the usual precautions in washing this. I am not advising anyone else do this, but I did wash it inside out on a delicate cycle in cold water, and then hung it on a drying rack. Once dry, I popped it in the dryer for a few minutes on warm to release any wrinkles. There were still a couple faint wrinkles in the graphic area, so I turned the shirt inside out and lightly steamed it. The wrinkles came out fine and it didn’t harm the shirt. All in all, the shirt looks just as good as it did prior to washing it. Again, I’m not suggesting everyone go against the sellers recommendation for dry cleaning, but that’s how I will continue to launder my shirt. I really do think this is a cute print and look forward to wearing it this holiday season and for years to come. If you’re looking for something cute and comfy to wear around for the holidays, I recommend this.
