An update, 10-06-2014: After having this gizmo in service for many months, I'll gladly upgrade it to Four Stars. It works and yes, I use it. The install and adjustment, including the soft spacers remain difficult, but if it gets tightened up every quarter, it should work just fine. Would I buy it again? Yes!-updated 10-06-2014-----This is a fully worthy spinner. I think it is built for ancient steering wheels, but then so is the concept of using a spinner! While it CAN be made to fit and in just exactly the right place, the process is not easy. Take your time, experiment and move it around. Once in place, it seems to be a good helper and often convenient to use.TIP: Find a mounting spot such that the KNOB itself is inside the original steering wheel. If outside, you will eventually regret it.At the end of the day, spinners are a horrible idea for daily, in-town traffic. In rural roads and Interstates, they have potential, but always have both hands ready. I'm not going to return the spinner, but I have mixed feelings.I shopped with care and could not fins anything any better. If you have found a better one, I'd like to know.This may be one of the best, but it is just not good enough.
