The bag fits in the slot as advertised, but as I get in and out on the left side, I would have liked the zip to be on that side. Side. However, in order for the zipper to go top to bottom (this prevents things from falling out when you open the bag), it needs to be placed on the right side of the bike. It was so inconvenient for me that after some use I removed it and installed it upside down on the left side. I'm not sure how to solve this without adding zips on both sides or making a "left" and "right" pocket. Otherwise the bag is a good size (I only needed room for my phone, tools and an extra pair of glasses). As for durability, I'm not sure yet - it's too new.
