Started with photos of the packaging, then photos of the product, then the last three shots taken by the camera itself. The box is smaller than I expected, but it's enough. I suspect this is typical for items that are intended to be shipped and not sold at retail. It came in a padded envelope but light enough not to be damaged in transit. self-adhesive pad. (See Revain product page for instructions.) I don't use it. Good Quality USB Cable - Stiffness might be an issue for some and will affect the position of the camera, but it's less likely to fray or become damaged. .The base has a threaded tripod mount, which is nice. The base is not spring-loaded - it depends on manual closure, not spring tension. Both surfaces inside the base are rubber-coated, so they tend to grab the bottom, not only where it points due to the base, but has no lateral twist. The device was automatically recognized by my Windows 10 and Teams PC. took it and used it as a standard camera. When the camera is active, a row of white lights will illuminate. They stand out but don't bother you. The resolution (as expected) is 1920 x 1080 for a 16 x 9 Full HD image. The Windows Camera app says it needs 30 fps in Full HD. The color is ok for the main subject in the photo. The picture has a distinct fish-eye effect to give a wide-angle view, which is normal. Brightness dips towards the edges and this is clearly a main focus intended for a person at a normal working distance, not close-up - close-up quality is abysmal. That means this is a webcam for conferences, not photos. You won't want to use it for your eBay photos. But that's not what it was meant for. The sound isn't very good, but it will work. I compared it to my Logitech USB headset and it turned out that the sound in the headset is better when it's behind my head than the camera when it's properly positioned about half a meter in front of me. Audio. If you don't have $100 to spend, this is a decent option. If you do business web conferencing on a regular basis and can afford a $100 Logitech camera, I would suggest going down this route. If you use it for family and friends it will work. As of this writing, it's difficult to find Logitech webcams without scalper markups. If any company is reading this, look out for a better image sensor and microphone. The microphone can be improved with a different setup - it may sound worse through the small hole, but other small hole sound better. I didn't take it apart to see how it's installed inside. Update: I used Teams with a colleague and he said the image quality was probably better than others in this price range. He said that in this area a light background (window) usually blurs everything else, but not this one. And he said he thought it sounded good. I will update it with one star.
