Review on GE PC 79586 Bright Indoor Floodlight by Andrew Rourk
There appears to be a secondary light source within the bulb.
Starts out really bright, but doesn't dim a minute after switching it on again. It seems that there is an additional light source in the bulb, which turns on temporarily, and then turns off after the main phosphor element warms up. It's a bit annoying.
