Judging from the many pictures I've seen of this stand before, I thought the center armrest protruded over the smaller tablet and looked unsightly. 7 inch tablet at an angle I like to tilt it at when sitting at my desk. As you can see from the pictures, it adjusts so low that it doesn't show the middle stand above my tablet (Nexus 7). I was about to just buy a small and cheap picture frame stand for 99 cents, but I'm glad I chose this stand made for the job. The tablet stands upright but also has rubber on the bottom to prevent it from easily sliding across the table. A few things I would rate negatively are 1) sometimes when I was moving my legs and adjusting the stand it almost felt like I had to use so much force for something to break, and 2) when you want to place the tablet on the stand in portrait mode with a webcam on top and a charging port on the bottom, you can't connect it to a power source at the same time, the feet keep it 3/8" from the table surface, which is normal for a MicroUSB, USB Type- C or Lightning is not enough (see picture).
