High efficiency + value

mouthwash counters I've encountered. Not only is it a breath freshening mouthwash (no hardened stamp is required), it also has very effective properties against gums, plaque and germs, NOT due to the addition of triclosan or other chemicals that kill gut bacteria. Colgate and colleagues rely on an age-old (at least) formula that involves layering two solutions whose ingredients self-separate, and then simply instructing the prospective dentist to shake the bottle vigorously to bring the two solutions into a super solution. While I'm obviously not a biochemist and not particularly well versed in the polysyllabic pseudo-Latin neologisms of the chemical industry, the lack of a detailed list of mysterious ingredients is also encouraging. Benzoate, Saccharin, Potassium Sorbate, and Sucralose I don't mind seeing it on the label; I'm really glad to know that sunflower and mineral oils, glycerin and beta-carotene can help give my champagnes a clean, minty-fresh taste. twice daily) ANY topical multi-chemical mouthwash given the likely potential for general digestive upset and oral health imbalances (other than tooth staining), but in general this Colegate product is a five star winner as an adjunct to general oral hygiene habits. .

Pros
  • Shake before use to activate the unique shake technology that shows leftover food and bacteria picked up from the mouth in the sink
Cons
  • Some bugs
