Seems to work. After my morning coffee I used this brush without toothpaste to brush my teeth (after not brushing my teeth the night before). Then I kissed Khabs and asked him if my breath smelled. Loaded question maybe. But he said he smelled clean, but not like a clean-coated fake. It was more of a natural clean scent. My mouth feels really clean after using it. The brush has a soft silicone grip on a plastic handle. The bristles are AMAZING and I would really like to see more brushes designed like this. They feel great on my teeth and gums. There are densely packed bristles up to a point, and then there are longer ones that outweigh most of the shorter ones. As a result, many bristles penetrate areas that shorter, stiffer bristles cannot reach. Finally my mouth is super clean. All in all, I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I like this brush.
