Often compared to the Blue Yeti, these mics are exactly what we wanted for our podcast. My friend and I spent hours setting it up with no success. Turns out they don't tell you that these mics are digitally signed the same. So if you plug both of them into your computer, it will only recognize one microphone, not two. Worse, you can't easily change the digital signature for a microphone, only the manufacturer can usually do that. Simply put, this renders either microphone completely useless when connected to the same computer. (Again, this will happen to the Blue Yeti itself, so don't think spending money on them will make things any better). Computer for simultaneous use, let me save you time and energy and say: DON'T DO THIS, IT WON'T WORK. For those just looking for a microphone, the only benefit is decent sound quality. The stand isn't very strong and we had a hard time getting them to stay pressed against the table no matter how tight we tightened them. They often fell on us when trying to install them. A thin piece of foam that protects whatever you attach the mic to, quickly crumpled and detached from the metal of the stand itself.
