We have had this collar for 4 months now, we only use it in the yard and to play with dogs (otherwise our dog wears a harness outside the house) and now pull it twice hard enough to open the clasp and tear it free. Once he was lucky in our fenced yard, then he almost killed a rabbit he was trying to get at. But another time when we were leaving a play date, he came off his collar when the gate was open, right next to the main road... We eventually caught him, but he could have been seriously injured. I'm also not a big bully breed, he's a whippet and only weighs 32lbs...if he can break this collar I'm sure your dog can too, if you have a hunting instinct don't buy this collar .
