This is the perfect little comb for touching up makeup. It has short and long, plush and coarse bristles, all on a sturdy wooden handle with a sharp cutting tip. Not only does this bristle texture help to catch all the hair, it really teases and curls your strands! It creates a lot of volume if used properly, just make sure you know how to backcomb your hair properly. You don't need a rat's nest! Not only did this brush create lots of va-va volume, it didn't seem to tangle and knot my hair at the end of the day, despite a lot of messing around (playing with my niece and nephew) and rough accommodations, my hair was easy to comb. I use a little hairspray at the roots, then brush back and let the volume and hairspray set (hold over head for a few seconds). This comb is also the perfect size and fits in most of my travel bags so I can always have wonderfully long hair. tempting "combs" not on the market.
