I did some research on the benefits of adding weight to a golf club for practice and practice. There is one side that claims the extra weight helps increase swing speed, but the other side thinks the extra weight should only be used for warming up and not for speed training; This is because there are fast-twitch muscles that help increase distance, and they don't work with the constant swinging of a heavier stick. However, these donut weights are easy to use and inexpensive. They are made of steel and covered with vinyl material. It weighs 147 grams and barely fits in the large/large grip. They seem safe enough to slide over graphite rods, but I play it safe and only use them on my long and short irons. Overall: 5/5 stars.
