I was hesitant to try drugstore shampoo but I'm so glad I did. I like it better than Pureology and Redken. It's also about 1/5 the price and I use the same amount of product as the higher end products. Smells amazing - obviously coconut and it really lingers on the hair which I love. Really moisturizing and great if you have a dry scalp. It also lasts a long time because it foams a lot so you don't need a lot. My scalp is very sensitive and mostly itchy and very dry. I tried dandruff shampoo and it got worse. Dry scalp and dandruff are not the same. Dandruff is actually a fungal problem. This is the first shampoo that really helped. It is so moisturizing that it almost detangles the hair. Not recommended for thin or greasy hair. My hair is medium thick, wavy, long and very dry. The conditioner is one of the best I've ever tried.
