I bought these for my son who is almost 6 years old and they are definitely too long for him which is to be expected as they are for a boy. I would say this environment is better suited for an 8 year old. I really like that there is a drawstring waist that you can make it tighter or stretchier to fit different height kids. These pants are very well made. This is a solid knit made from a blend of cotton and polyester. The ankles are tied to prevent them from dangling around the foot. Inside is a very soft fleece material that is very comfortable to wear and keeps your feet warm. I highly recommend these pants! They last as long as your child can fit in them. I wish they had these in my size as I would love to try them on and wear them as lounge pants!
