I had some left-over bits of yarn from other projects and like a quilter, people who crochet (or knit) try to find ways to use up those odd bits and pieces. Making granny squares with all those different yard colors is a way to create something pretty and useable, but once a set of granny squares has been made, they need to be attached to each other. That's where this white yarn came it. I used it to create an edging around each granny square, attaching each square as I went along. The white yarn made a pretty and sturdy finished crocheted lap cover for cold evenings. This yarn looks great on my finished granny square project!
