Very good stud finder. 4 different scanning modes to search different materials (wood, metal, wire and deep materials). Work well and accurately on wood and metal. I am the main consumer in the household. I'm not a profi. I hang things up from time to time and needed a new stud finder because my old one broke. It's easy to use and offers a lot more features than my old model from another brand. The biggest learning curve (around 2 seconds) was using the calibration mode. Basically, on my old model, I would hold down the side button and immediately start moving the viewfinder. To do this, you need to hold down the side button, leave it flat against the wall and not slide from side to side for about 3 seconds. You cannot start gliding until the calibration is complete. Then you slide. So a little slower at the front. But then, after calibration, you don't have to press and hold the button again when the device is on. You can put it down, pick it up again and start sliding. This is a great feature because there were times when you had to slip into an awkward position or forget something (marker, etc.). With this device, you just lift it and start sliding. It is not necessary to press the button again. I was also happy with the "medium" viewfinder. My old search engine didn't have this feature. This way I don't have to mark the left and right position of the hairpin anymore. This Tavool does the job for me and does it well.
