Review on Volkman Avian Science Super Lovebird & Conure Diet Bird Food: Optimal Nutrition for Your Feathered Friends by Tammy Dellman

This is the best seed mix I can find to please my two birds and the vet was thrilled when she saw it in its small travel cage but since the birds Known to be picky eaters, MANY seeds remain intact. I don't know which ones they choose, but they never eat the larger sunflower seeds and instead eat the smaller ones and sometimes the sunflower seeds. While it's an amazing mix because they feel great and eat a lot, I wish the seed mix was more to their liking. I'm sure this isn't a problem with Volkman's choice as birds just don't eat what they don't eat, but I can't give it a full 5 stars because I don't feel like it. Couldn't substitute if I had taken the time to find out what type of seeds they particularly eat. I wish the formula was a little more acceptable to her across the board. Do little birds eat peanuts? Mine says "Huh?" when it comes to these and other big seeds.
