It is not safe to block the airbag!
As I began the installation I found that it would be directly in front of the passenger airbag. I don't think it's safe to put anything in, let alone with loose objects that can be launched as projectiles at very high speeds when the airbag deploys. Only the airbag itself can cause injuries due to the force with which it deploys. Too risky. We will have to say goodbye to this storage idea.
