Ooma is a waste of time and money. Their services are of poor quality, terribly unreliable, and a customer service nightmare. After months of being billed for unused services, and even after requesting a fee adjustment, I have not received any help and/or changes to my bill. I then asked for my account to be closed (because of course they won't let you cancel online because their service is so terrible). I was told that the agent I called was unable to process my request. I was told the manager would have to call me back but this did not happen again and I continued to be charged. I made one last try and called again, this time shouting out right away and humiliating the workers (I feel bad but unfortunately I think the only way to cancel your service is to get them to not you as a customer) and after 30 minutes after the woman had told me that she could not cancel my service and that my call (now for the third time) would be forwarded to her manager, I just agreed to be informed that her supervisor is unavailable and she "calls me". ." return". I informed the agent that my card was cancelled, I filed a claim with the BBB and kept yelling at her until she finally gave up and called me (after a 10 minute wait). Unfortunately, I am finally free of Ooma's terrible "favor" and will never return. Please, if you value your sanity, stay away from Ooma.
