Review on ECO DENT Extra Baking Toothpowder Dazzling by Katie Ortiz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

the strength of the powder is kinda blinding

Normally my teeth whitening routine involves Crest 3D Whitestrips but with recent troubles in the finance department (I'm a poor college student) I would have I should be frugal. Such is the arrival of Eco-Dent. I had never tried powdered toothpaste before, but had no hesitation in trying it either. It's actually pretty fun and a little easier than a regular soft toothpaste tube in my opinion. The bottle itself is very small and comes with a flip top cap which I like. It takes a while to get used to putting the powder on your toothbrush, but unless you have very fidgety hands, the process is easy. The toothpaste itself tastes good; There's an added mint that ensures your breath doesn't stink, but it's not overwhelming so, as someone said in previous reviews, you CAN drink orange juice afterwards. It's also gentle on the burn factor, so there's no listerin breakouts. My teeth generally look as clean as they should be and I feel like the powder gives my teeth an extra shine! However, for me the most important aspect of this product was the promised whitening feature and to be honest my teeth have never been overly discolored since I have whitened them annually. But I really feel like this product has given them the extra boost I desire - while this won't be a miracle product that will lift the most stained teeth right away, it will do little, and remember that prevention the key is! 3 weeks, twice a day and voila. You can probably keep using it, but I want to keep it for tweaking important events and the like. All in all a cool product that will be good for travel. It's easy to use, tastes great, and brightens up a bit.

Pros
  • High score for hold and durability from the testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other products
