I have a pair of 12mm gold hoop earrings that I wear 24/7. One of them stayed and never came off on its own. The locking mechanism of the other wasn't as reliable. It came down a few times - when I was towel drying my hair, when I was taking off my blouse etc. I was able to find it until the last time it fell off. So now I only have one left. I never had an allergic skin reaction when wearing them. The 12mm silver pair I also bought felt kinda different. I couldn't wear them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week because I got itchy where the earrings touched my ears - sometimes after a few hours, sometimes after a few days. I've never worn them long enough to really compare their locking mechanism to the gold pair mentioned. Both pairs are not as shiny as I would like, but given their price I have no complaints about the quality of the stones. Considering I've been wearing the gold pair 24/7 for months and the gold color has stayed the same, the quality is good. However, I would like the locking mechanism to be more reliable.
