Let me start this review by saying that I have been addicted to lip balm for 10 years. I have to have at least one lip balm with me everywhere I go, but two is better cuz it’s best to have a backup. My addiction is well known among my family and friends. Because of this I have become a chapstick connoisseur. I stumbled upon this lip balm years ago, it became my be-all-end-all lip balm. It applied thick enough and had enough staying power that it actually made my obsession better, because I did not have to apply so frequently. I ordered a new pack recently to restock, and was horrified to find that my tried and true chapstick was now thin, greasy, and actually made my lips hurt from feeling dehydrated even though I had to apply it more frequently. My boyfriend, who often teases me for my lip balm obsession, thought I was crazy when I told him about the formula change, until I had him do a try-on comparison between an older one I still had and the new balm I had just gotten. He noticed too! To all my other chapstick addicts/connoisseurs beware.
