Works great on my new Asus AM4 motherboard. I ran out of USB ports and had to plug in a bluetooth dongle. Since it would never be removed, this seemed like the best and least expensive option. This worked exactly as I had hoped. The connector plugs directly into the USB 2.0 header on my motherboard (after verifying correct orientation). The cable was long enough to route everything behind the motherboard and from the front of my case behind the faceplate for optimal bluetooth signal. Cables and connectors are of high quality, USB ports do not hang out.
