Came back after trying to get it working for a week - couldn't work for over an hour

I wanted to like this KVM switch. This was intended to replace the 4 port KVM that was VGA and PS2. I bought a newer laptop and found that Win 10 doesn't support PS2 mice. who knew So I decided to get a new KVM with HDMI and USB as all my systems support it. So I went with this one as it offers 8 cables while the similar one only offers 4 cables. The wired remote control didn't work. It lit up, but as soon as I tried changing systems they all went away and I had to toggle the switch with the remote off and on again. When I switched from one system to another, I had to turn the monitor off and on again for it to appear - sometimes. This is usually not the case. After a week of doing what I could, I returned this one and bought another one that was about the same price - the difference was day and night. save your money This KVM switch is not worth it. Check out my review of another 8-port KVM - you'll like it a lot more.
