We always get very large Christmas trees from 12 to 14 feet. We've tried several tree stands over the years and they all needed something special to help the tree stay up. When using this stand for the first time, it was clear that it didn't need any help to hold the tree. This tree stand is the first one that gave me peace of mind that when I got home from work, our tree would still be standing upright.
