I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

It was the first hard USB 3.0 at the beginning of December 2022 at an adequate price, and since I had the same one only for 320 gigs and USB 2.0, and I was completely satisfied with it, then I bought this one. The kit comes with software that formats a subject to NTFS in a minute, I think this is a quick format. Note the throughput of USB 2.0 is 480 Mbps or 60 Mb/s, Expresscard is 2.5 Gbps or 312.5 Mb/s, and USB 3.0 is 5 Gbps or 625 Mb/s, so I have a hard drive through the Expresscard USB 3.0 controller, since it is supposed to work on USB 2.0, it probably rests on the hard interface itself. It works for me with one wire for USB 2.0 and 3.0, the second wire does not give a speed increase, but it is needed for laptops on which the amperage is small or for hubs, for example, USB contacts on the front panel of the system unit.

Pros
  • The speed even on USB 2.0 on my Sony VAIO AW1RXU / Q laptop reaches 35 MB / sec on average 23 for reading, 27 for writing on average 20. for files over 1000 MB.
Cons
  • Today I bought a NEC USB 3.0 Expresscard 34 controller for 2 holes, when I connect the subject, the light is blue, the same files over 1000 MB are written to it at a speed of 43 MB / s, copied from it to a computer at a speed of 70-75 MB / s at the beginning, then it drops significantly - up to 45, so the increase was from 60 to 100 percent, which is very good for me, but still does not reach 90 MB / s of recording, although it may be the controller's fault, after all, it has a nominal half the bandwidth of USB 3.0
