I've searched (and bought) static dusters for textured ceilings for a long time and they've all failed. The bristles stick to the ceiling; the grip is not strong enough; it goes on. I asked the question "does this cloth work on a textured blanket?" and one person replied that they made their own and it worked really well, so I bought it. It is very durable. The handle snaps into place and stays there; The brush is very soft and durable, easy to bend. Its length is also long enough to clean most of my ceiling at once. Every now and then I shook it out the window and could see dust and dirt in the air. I tried it out on a table that's packed, I call it junk, others call it junk, and I could see the dust stuck to the rag by placing it right over the table - that's the kind of dust who I do not like knows. I do not mind. I would highly recommend this fuller brush for all types of dust and I am very glad I finally found a feather duster for my quilts.
