I'm expecting a speed ratio of at least 5:1, from good 'stir' to right hitting. Unfortunately, no. The rate variability was 13%. For example without variable speed. I ended up spending $17 on an external speed controller to make it usable. Many problems. I wanted to clean the grinding jar, so I poured some soapy water in and 'chop' on the lowest setting. Lid doesn't fit properly, doesn't snap or anything like that. Suitable for dry or not very wet clothes, but certainly not suitable for wet things. The blender head is unusually large, as other reviewers have pointed out - don't expect it to fit in a regular glass you might want to mix food in. The only good thing is that the various tools are detachable, so unlike an all-purpose blender, they can be completely washed. I complained they said "send a video of the problem". BUT? A video where the speed doesn't change much? The designers must have used the wrong parts (technically a bad value/style potentiometer), "and" the wires are dangling when you turn the speed knob! HM? No self-respecting designer would have anything but solid wires for any function. only HUM.
