They are beautiful to look at, the holder is well made and they are amazingly absorbent. Upon delivery, one of mine had a small chip on it, but I decided it was too difficult to return. I drink a lot of ice water and always cover my current coasters with kitchen paper because the glass sweats a lot. Of course it was an unstable base and I accidentally spilled some water. They're just great at absorbing liquid. They also won't scratch your furniture. A win!
