The device does exactly what I need: converting an Intel 660p NVME hard drive to a PciExpress x1 -Slot. This is actually rare as most of these adapters are actually PCIExress x4 with a larger connector. This does not work on my specific motherboard (only x1 slot available). My problem is that it came disassembled in a plastic bag. Boxes and instructions on what to do, no. Luckily I already have a few, but otherwise I could see people getting confused on how to use a press-fit brass piece and a screw. On motherboards, use a screw to attach the NVME drive to the brass piece. This involves pushing the center of the brass piece into the NVME cutout and then screwing the brass piece through the adapter board into the brass piece. NVME is only held by friction. It works, but the instructions really need to be included.
