I've had one for a year. Returning from Italy with him, I read this enthusiastic review. I find the design solid. But if it doesn't work, I'd just buy another one. i love it so much Here are my reasons why you need it. The first reason is that it is a universal adapter for input and output. You can take an outlet that already has a plug, plug the adapter into the wall, and then plug the light into the outlet. Adapter. See my photo of it in Italy. Therefore, no matter how much power you are looking for, you can get USB charging ports without sacrificing an outlet. This is especially handy if you can keep things like your phone and TV next to your bed, where outlets are often scarce. The second reason. In Italy there are often two problems with adapters. Some outlets have switches right next to the outlet, and a regular adapter won't make one of the switches work. Since the southern European plugs take a very long time to extend on a very thin probe, the adapter sits over the derailleurs of this band. See my photo for an example. Reason three is another use of the same long extension plug in southern Europe. Many sockets have a recessed curve that leads to the outlet. They are designed for a perfectly round fork. Many adapters with this will connect to them normally. But this one fits with no problem. Reason four - I was trying to use this plug on an airplane only with an American plug. It fell out like many other chargers several times after sliding and plugging into a not-so-thick socket. It occurred to me to switch to a 3 pin UK plug which snaps in very securely. So this adapter will work on an airplane where a regular American adapter might fail. Reason #5: Four USB ports are great for today's travel needs. I charge my watch, phone, Kindle, iPad and headphones. Almost all charging can be done via USB these days. And it allows me to charge almost everything at once.
