I only put 4 stars by easy to assemble as I'm old and thought I could handle it, but the wood is extremely heavy to me so I had to call my nephew for help. Once it fell on my toe I said that's it - I can't do it - I'm not strong enough any more. However, there are only 4 pieces and 16 screws and 2 allen wrenches and if the wood wasn't so heavy for me to handle, I would have put it together in 10 minutes. Alas, my nephew put it together in 10 minutes. Attractive, heavy/sturdy and am extremely pleased with this. It's big. Normal coffee table size but more sturdy.
