Decent player at a reasonable price

As other reviewers have pointed out the built in phono stage is terrible. Just don't think about using it. Invest in a good quality external phono preamp (I bought this from Rolls which I am very happy with) and your ears will thank you. As already mentioned, the scale on the tonearm is fantastic. You need a good manometer with a pen. Easy setup, good sound, works as promised. Not the best turntable I've owned (I've had several good quality turntables and cartridges in the past) but quite serviceable and reliable. I would recommend, with the caveats above.
