My glasses lay sideways on my nose, kept sliding down and causing severe irritation. These nose pads are a godsend. The raised edge of the lining minimizes skin contact, making them very comfortable. If you have oily skin like me, rinse your nose a few times a day as too much sebum will dissolve the glue. Hot and humid weather will also cause the adhesive to wear out faster - and that's to be expected. To prolong the life of your pads, do not wash your glasses under the tap or apply lens cleaner directly to the lenses - spray a tissue and THEN wipe the lens. Also wipe the greasy edges of your glasses off your skin. Once the pads start to slip, they're done. Remove the pads and use Goo Gone and a paper towel to wipe away any remaining adhesive. When all the adhesive is removed, wash the lenses/frames thoroughly with soap and water, dry and replace with new pads. Then say "Ah-ah-ah-ah!" because your glasses feel so much better with pads!
