Adapter works well for the most part. In several hotels I found that my computer could not maintain a stable connection while others had no problems even after moving to other parts of the establishment. I love leaving my adapter in my computer, but after a year of packing and unpacking my laptop while traveling, the black cover covering the exposed portion of the adapter finally cracked and came loose. For comparison, there is a similar adapter for my wireless keyboard and mouse, just inches away, but it's still intact after over 2 years of wearing. I'm buying a new wireless adapter today, but it won't be a Belkin model. A number of other brands that cost about half as much are looking more promising.
