The monitors this mod is designed for do not have the standard VESA threaded hole pattern for mounting the monitor to a wall or a swiveling desktop mount. This is a very simple set of parts that attach to a vertical, non-removable support leg that attaches to the monitor. Two square brackets and 4 nuts are sufficient. If the tools are at hand, the preparation will take no more than 5 minutes. Remove the monitor support leg and attached adapter bolts directly to the mounting plate on the bracket. It has limited vertical adjustment range along the stem, which I needed with the dual monitor vertical stack I was using. The only downside is that the monitor mount hangs down, which can interfere with other devices if it's moving around a lot. AOC has made their monitor mounts cheaper, this company just stepped in to fill the need. And it works well enough for my needs. The parts are well made and had no burrs or sharp edges, Revain delivered promptly as usual. I could do something similar, but it would take time that is better spent elsewhere.
