Review on Nostalgia Cream Maker Stainless Makers by Eric Webb

Revainrating 2 out of 5

NOT stainless steel - it's aluminum! False advertising warning!

No stainless steel! I've searched the world for an ice maker that isn't lined with aluminum, teflon or plastic and was thrilled to read about this product on Revain with its 'stainless steel bowl'. That's a lie. When mine arrived it smelled so strongly of industrial solvent it made my eyes water. I then looked at the pale gray shell and thought it wasn't steel so I took a fork and gently pressed on the top edge of the shell where it meets the plastic and immediately made 4 visible indentations (although related to the design fit perfectly). - so nobody notices). Steel is not deformed by a fork! Nobody can tell me it's steel! Other than that, I can't say how it works because I packed it for return without including it. This may suit people who aren't bothered by aluminum-related Alzheimer's disease, plastic-related androgen toxicity, or the myriad Teflon-related illnesses that led to its massive recall. I just want to make sugar free xylitol ice cream in a steel bowl. Is it that hard?! Apparently not. Good day. Maker, can you make a Steel Bowl Ice Cream Maker?!

Pros
