Review on Modway Ripple Office Chair White Furniture by Christy Rodriguez

Looks good, becomes uncomfortable after a few hours

I've had the chair for a little over a month now. I've sat in it for hours with no back problems, although I've noticed that my back gets a little uncomfortable because the seat is stiffer (ie it's not a thick/soft cushion like we are). in a few (5+) hours. A pillow might help, but for me it's a pretty minor discomfort that goes away when I get up and walk around a bit. This can be a bigger problem for older people, so it's worth noting that this isn't a particularly ergonomic chair. I love that it doesn't have armrests so it fits under my desk, but I wish it could recline. You cannot recline or adjust the backrest or seat angle. It still works great for me, but considering it's almost $80, those options would be nice. On the other hand, it makes me sit up straight. :) Finally, my thoughts on how it looks: I have it in red and I love it. In my opinion, the material is not cheap. The chrome base is good. **Update: The chair has been around for a year now. It's holding up well except for an annoying squeak coming from the base of the chair, not sure if I can even oil it. I find the chair more uncomfortable - it's fine for a couple of hours, but certainly not for a full day's work, even with the ergonomic cushion I put on it.
