Maybe it's not a problem for situations where you just plug it in and leave it behind your TV or stereo for years, but such a musician who has done it several times turns devices on and off during the day just doesn't stand up to the test. The case is non-bolted, non-filled and non-soldered, which is some kind of inferior compression between the two sides. After a dozen or so connections and disconnections, it falls apart in the hand. I wouldn't even recommend it for studio use, god forbid on stage with all that vibration and movement. Spend a few extra dollars and buy something that won't break it when you laugh.
