Read other reviews on this filter. Some people have said they had to trim the edges a bit to fit the filter in the case. I didn't experience this on my 2011 328i upon installation. It's definitely a good fit and I had to press it into the case around the edges, but it fit without alteration. I have never used this brand. So time will tell how performance is affected. However, affordability was a factor in the purchase, along with many reviews.
