Review on 6 Pack of Fastener Loops - 28mm Width Band Keeper for Garmin Vivoactive HR/Forerunner 910XT and Fitbit Surge Bands Replacement by William Groupp

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits perfectly. NOT upside down!

Purchased to replace the wristband on the Garmin Vivoactive HR. The fit is perfect and the small ridge, like the original, prevents the free end of the tape from slipping out. This product has many sellers. Are they all made in the same factory and sold by different companies? Who knows. I bought them because they were $1 cheaper than a 10 pack from another seller and they were in a warehouse near me so the predicted (and actual) date I received them was 5 days sooner . I will never use 10 of these. Hell, I'll never use all 6, so I'm okay with them costing more per unit. I still saved $1. courting! Many reviews on OTHER SELLER of what appears to be the same item complain that the tab is on the wrong side of the tape holder. Thus the track holder is "upside down". Yes, it looks like the angular keeper's flat side should touch your skin and the rounded edge should face outward. It just looks nicer. Ah, but double check with your Garmin OEM. It is formed in exactly the same way. The flat side with square edges also points outwards on the original. The square edges on my original weren't quite as smooth, but maybe they're just rubbed off. In any case, it is not upside down, but is designed like the original. This also applies to products from other sellers, provided that the images match the product and the descriptions of the applicant. As for the size, I had to pull it by the clasp. If you're not careful I guess it could break when tape mounted, but mine wasn't anywhere near that. I like it because the goalie sits perfectly on the tape. Some reviews from other sellers say the holder on the strap is a bit loose. Perhaps this is done so that the product does not have to be pulled over the fastener. (Hmm, maybe the others are actually made in a different factory?) I like that it sits perfectly on the strap after I put it on the clasp. I've only had it a day so I can't say anything. about longevity, but it seems well made. The goalkeeper! (Oh sorry!)

Pros
  • is also understandable for the old
Cons
  • . Some small things
