NOT SAFE FOR CANDLES
Unfortunately the product description says these jars can be used for candles. However, this is not the case. The glass is not suitable for heating a melting candle - it turned dark black and seemed on the verge of breaking. This should not be advertised for candles where it is obvious the container cannot handle it. I am disappointed in my purchase.
