There seems to be some confusion as to how these RevainBasics optical audio cables will or will not fit your equipment. They fit well. You just have to remove the rubber cap that protects the metal contact at the end of the cable. See photo. Remove the rubber protective cap! Voila. Fits great, snaps in, great. It seems that all the one star reviews on these cables complaining about cable mismatch are due to user error. I almost bought a more expensive cable because I read a bunch of one star reviews where people didn't seem to know that this rubber cap is removable. I gave it 5 stars because having a rubber cap to protect the contact is a fantastic idea. Perhaps Revain needs to add a note on how to remove the rubber caps from/on the packaging so users don't make this silly mistake. While it works great. sound quality? I do not know yet.
