Review on Cuisinart DLC 018BGTX DLC 018BGTX 1 Pusher Assembly by Michael Pickering

Be aware of which versions and parts you need

Over the years I have replaced some plastic parts in our 35 year old DLC-10 Cuisinart. The problem only appeared with the last purchase. Older structures are pink in color and newer parts are grayish in color. Some gray parts now have the "T1" suffix. If you buy a part number ending in T1, you will need to replace most, and possibly all (I'm not sure), of other parts that don't end in T1. The pieces are very similar in size; however, they do not fit. For example the DLC-117BGTXT1 "push button assembly" (no, this is not a white cylindrical pusher but an assembly that attaches to the top of the assembly on the bowl, it requires a new version of the "T1" bowl. This requires a new version of the main bowl T1 expensive and destructive my conclusion is that it is better to buy the same version you have even if it is no longer manufactured, that means you are forced to buy a used part. Of course almost all used parts have some kind of crack so it's a gamble I bought a non working unit because I have a working motor To add more confusion there are some gray parts without the T1 suffix that are working * *and does not require Buy other plastic assemblies This is in no way a complaint that this part is sold here that you may have problems if your base unit is obsolete.
