The assessment now consists of 3 parts.

Installation was complicated because my real postal address was not recognized when I entered it. I had to accept the wrong street name. When I tried to view the location on my phone, most of the screen was covered. Add 2 free weeks for this evaluation. Only 1/3 of the screen showed the map which I needed to see the correct location. I have yet to place it in a car leaving my house as any distance from my address will disconnect my laptop from my home network. . You need a better screen image on your iPhone to be able to track a vehicle when WiFi is not available. Also, the text field for sending a message to a company does not contain the letter "p". If the spell checker finds the word, the letter "p" is inserted. What pain = what is. Updated Review: According to my review, the missing "p" issue is said to have been fixed. My bad screen image on my iPhone was due to using the laptop web version. However, the app store icon was barely visible in this image, and there was no indication of the iPhone app's name in the limited printed instructions. It turns out the iPhone app is called Spectrum GPS, not Spectrum Tracking. This is an important detail to include in your product installation notes. I installed the tracker in a 2003 Buick LeSabre. The next time we tried to start the car it wouldn't start. Assuming there was a dead battery issue, I attempted to start the car from an external source. No success. I also noticed that the key fob didn't work to open the doors or trunk. I called AAA. Your connecting cables were unsuccessful. I removed the tracker from the OBD port and suddenly all the doors unlocked. Suddenly I managed to start the engine. Disconnected the AAA truck and restarted the car with no problems. I inserted the tracker and was now able to start the car, but the key fob was still disabled. Too many accidents to trust this car tracker driven by an elderly family member in case it gets lost. I will request a refund. Update from 23.06. The seller has asked me to accept a new product in exchange for the first one I bought. I agreed to try again. I received a new tracker. It is slightly larger than the first model. I couldn't activate it with the iPhone app after several attempts. I had to activate it with a laptop on my home network. left my house so there is a delay in determining if this is causing problems with the key fob or engine starting. There is an issue with the scale of the map. Last week the zoom was zoomed in/out so that no roads are shown until the map is compressed. The map scale is now half the state of California, so I have to zoom in with my fingers to find my area and the street I live on. I still can't enter my mailing address to find my current location. Your map database is bad. The clock on your device is 6 hours ahead of local time. This needs to be fixed. I took it with me for a short trip. When I came back, the playback or history of that disc was not available to view. That wasn't a problem with the first device, it recorded the route of my trip perfectly. It looks like you still have a few bugs to fix.
