Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Enhance Your Gaming Experience with Logitech G MX518 Gaming Mouse by Steven Jackson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Amazing device. The legends are true.

I've been a Logitech fan for years, ever since I started playing PC games. I won't lie, I haven't really tried anything other than Logitech, but I have pretty much every major mouse in their gaming line. G403, G502, G Pro, G302 and G300s. I've always wanted to try the MX518 because of its shape, but haven't been able to until now. I have to say this is probably the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. The shape is similar to the G502, but it has eliminated the unnecessary elements of this mouse and is much lighter. I really like the old school look and the glossy finish is beautiful and feels good. I've been playing FPS games almost my entire life. Battlefield, Overwatch, CS:GO, Titanfall and now I'm mostly focused on Quake Champions and Apex Legends. The sensor is perfect in every way, which isn't surprising given it's still Logitech. The ergonomics are more suited to medium to large hands, this is definitely a THICC mouse and 100 grams isn't exactly ideal for FPS, but I don't mind that as the shape makes up for it. I had no problem transitioning from the 89g G Pro to this one. To be honest this will probably be my main mouse from now on until I find a better shape, but that probably won't happen. PROS - Amazing shape for medium to large hands (palm grip) - Solid construction, good old Logitech style - Great aesthetics and finish (I don't care about Lamborghini or RGB flashes) - Best sensor on the market - No braided cable (I can't stand cables they're tough, cling to everything and snap) - logitech customer service (they've been amazing in the past) CONS - 100g isn't ideal, would like to see it around 90g - the new logitech g hub- Software is not very good, I prefer old software - doesn't give me a shroud target

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Too long to wait
